Finca payesa franco-ibicenca
Since 1988
Once upon a time in Ibiza, there was an enchanting Finca spanning 25,000 square meters, animated by an infinite joy for living, receiving, and sharing.
At the heart of the island, a Klein blue stone on the road to Santa Eulalia marks the entrance to the Finca, lovingly renovated by Françoise Pialoux (also known as Mimine) year after year since 1988.
In absolute tranquility, twelve rooms are scattered throughout a lush terraced garden and two long pools of turquoise waters.
Shaded by palm trees, lemon trees, or mediterranean pines, on one of the multiple terraces, beautifully set tables await, offering a generous, simple, and refined cuisine, celebrated in the book « Ibiza, Land and Sea » which gathers the most delicious recipes of the house.
About
Mimine, her Mauritian chef Rochan, and Juanito offer a simple, familial, generous, and free-spirited cuisine, much like Ibiza itself. La finca takes pride in working with local producers and harvesting its own fruits, vegetables, and herbs in abundance. They delight in cooking them every day for their guests, whether it be on the sunny terrace, beside one of the pools, under the palm trees, or by the fireside in winter.
Every Tuesday, for over the past twenty years, it has been a ritual: we set up joyful tables under the stars to savour a fabulous couscous. We roll the semolina ourselves according to the true Moroccan tradition to ensure it is light and fluffy, we select the finest local meats, and cook the vegetables separately in a broth that holds our secret. We also offer a vegetarian version. A recipe we've refined year after year with the help of you, Aïcha, and Sarah. A rendez-vous for all the island's food enthusiasts.

The restaurant is open to non-hotel guests by reservation, in the evening only, and on Tuesdays of course for couscous! Other evenings except Wednesday and Saturday we are open for dishes guided by the seasons, encounters, and daily inspiration. We like to keep a short menu and we always offer vegetarian options.

The Finca, fully renovated according to the island's traditions, is almost two centuries old. It embodies all the codes of Ibiza's architecture: dry stone walls, whiteness of lime, thick walls that seem alive, all on a human scale and filled with good vibes. An authentic peasant palace surrounded by twelve rooms, each with its singular charm and a private terrace.
Throughout the lush garden, one comes across a pool, and then another, a tennis court (lit at night to be enjoyed in the evening during the warm season), a yoga terrace, a yurt, a 1970s caravan with plenty of games for children, an aromatic vegetable garden next to the kitchen, a swing, a chicken coop, and further on another permaculture vegetable garden, and all along, hundreds of flowers and trees: fig trees, palm trees, roses, olive trees, oaks, cosmos fields, artichokes, false pepper trees, junipers, umbrella pines, black pines, and maritime pines, cacti, lemon trees, orange trees, vines, avocado trees, bougainvilleas, almond trees, apricot trees, pomegranate trees, wisterias, grasses...
